2024 was busy transitioning to a mobile shop “Sulley” (Sullivan), creating new items, and meeting others passionate about saving animals! Looking forward to what 2025 has to bring!

4 Hands 8 Paws Is Growing… Up!

I decided to move to Raleigh, North Carolina to pursue a bachelors degree at North Carolina State University. I am sad to leave my Shenandoah Valley life behind for the time being. I will miss all the fun events with my business partner/mother and the great customers I have met! While I won’t physically be home enough to help with 4 Hands 8 Paws, I will still hold this business close to my heart. 4 Hands 8 Paws is still impactful in my life. I have enjoyed all of the benefits that it has provided me over the course of my middle school and high school years. I continue to reflect on all of the people (and sweet pups!) I have met. As I take further strides in my life, I will use the entrepreneurial and networking skills I have acquired and use them for great things! Thank you to everyone who has made 4 Hands 8 Paws so influential to not just myself, but our whole community of animal rescues, shelters, humane societies and everything else in between. Now I can go onward to support some other kind of dogs at NCSU! GO WOLFPACK!!

Remembering our Why?

Lilly was found as a stray and posted on Petfinders.com Our family was ready for a family dog and she seemed to be a good fit. Who knew this dog with bald spots from fleas could turn out to be such a beauty! And so smart! Sadly she lost her battle to cancer in March 2023. We miss her everyday.

We spotted Paisley (formerly Purdita) on Petfinders.com after she was surrendered with two puppies, both of which tested positive for Parvo. Unfortunately, only one survived. We decided Lilly needed a playmate to perk her up and boy did it! They played constantly. Everyone who meets Paisley falls in love. She is very much a people dog. Our family is blessed to have found this little snuggle buddy!
